Sam goes to one of those religious gatherings and listens to the evangelist's sermon. After a while, the evangelist asks anyone with needs to come forward and be prayed over.
Sam gets in line and when it’s his turn he was asked, "Son, what do you want me to pray about?"
Sam says, "I need you to pray for my hearing."
So the evangelist puts one finger in Sam’s ear and the other hand on top of his head and prays for a while. He removes his hands and asks, "How’s your hearing now?"
Sam replies, "I don’t know yet, it’s not until next Monday."
